Students of the Restaurant & Bar training course, from the Paio Peres Correia school, were last May 19th at the AP Maria Nova Lounge, with the purpose of getting to know, in practice, how a hotel unit works.


The trainees visited the main areas of the hotel – reception, office, kitchen, restaurant and bar – and had the opportunity to meet and listen to Chef Milene Nobre and the head of the restaurant and bar, Luis Santos, as well as the director of the hotel unit,Xisco Homs.


They thus had the opportunity to enrich their training process through contact with excellent professionals and, through them, with reality.


Professional training is a lever in the qualification of trainees, allowing them to learn and acquire new skills, essential for the future, with the collaboration of the AP Maria Nova Lounge.


The goal is to value and highlight the worthy professions connected to the hotel business, thus contributing to the exquisite service and excellence of care that the guests of the AP Hotels & Resorts group well deserve.
