2nd ALBUFEIRA MEETING OF ATHLETISM AT AP VICTORIA SPORTS & BEACH

The AP Victoria Sports & Beach hosted, on the 14th of May, in its excellent sports facilities, the 2nd Albufeira Athletics Meeting, in which around three hundred national and international athletes took part.

 

The tests were open to federated athletes, in the under-10, under-12, under-18 to Master and under-20 to Master categories, male and female, including the disciplines of pole vaulting, high jump and long jump , shot put and javelin throw, 100 and 110 meters hurdles, 200, 400 and 1000 meters track.

 

The sports event was attended by some athletes with great credentials, from the biggest Portuguese clubs, such as SL Benfica and Sporting CP, among others.

 

The 2nd Albufeira Athletics Meeting, jointly organized by AP Victoria Sports & Beach and the Algarve Athletics Association, with the support of Albufeira City Council, is part of the calendar of World Athletics and the Portuguese Athletics Federation.

 

The event, which was a great success, was also an excellent opportunity for AP Victoria Sports & Beach to publicize its excellent sports facilities and the surrounding area of Açoteias, in Albufeira.
