Sardine Festival in Portimão

Are you in Portimão? Take the opportunity to visit the Sardinha Festival, from August 3 to 7, in the riverside area of the city.
The festival is back after a 2-year break, with a renewed image and a diversified program for all tastes.
Portimão will host several national artists such as João Leote on the 3rd, David Fonseca on the 4th, Barbara Tinoco on the 5th, Wet Bed Gang on the 6th and David Carreira on the 7th.
The most important will not be missing, the famous sardines in bread, accompanied by boiled potatoes and the Algarve salad, which will be served in the various restaurants in the area and in the stalls of local associations and clubs, with more than a thousand seats.
The official opening of the festival is on August 2 with a trip to the past, with costumes, sayings and means of transport from a few decades ago, with fifty extras, which will be followed by the great popular sardine.
The animation will not be lacking during these days!
