PORTUGUESE CREW REPRESENTING AP HOTELS & RESORTS IS WORLD SAILING CHAMPION

The Portuguese crew led by Paulo Ramada, won the sailing world championship, SB20 class, with the boat AP Hotels and Resorts, from Club Naval de Cascais.
The crew, formed by Paulo Ramada, Artem Basalkim, Gonçalo Vieira Lopes and Carlota Gala, was the first classified in the world championship held in Ireland, between September 5 and 9, in a very disputed race, with 57 teams.
“Off Dun Laoghaire, the “AP Hotels & Resorts” was always in the fight for the top positions, having finished in the ‘top 3’ in seven of the 12 disputed races, concluding the championship with 33 points,” adds LUSA.
Paulo Ramada, administrator of the Madre Turismo Group, which is part of the AP Hotels & Resorts group, is a very experienced sailor with a great curriculum, with four titles of National Champion of SB20, Iberian Champion of IMS600, National Champion of Dragon, National Champion of ORC, among many other titles.
