AP HOTELS & RESORTS AT THE CENTENARY GALA OF THE ALGARVE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

Football in the Algarve had its big party at the celebration of the Centenary of the Algarve Football Association, at a Gala held on 16th October in the Auditorium of the Gambelas Campus of the University of the Algarve, with a full house.

All Algarve municipalities were present at the Gala, and the Secretary of State for Sport, João Paulo Correia, as well as the President of the Portuguese Football Federation, Fernando Gomes, were also present.

On the occasion, the Algarve Football Association was awarded the gold medal of merit, presented by the Secretary of State.

With the presence of the main representatives of the economic activities of the region, the President of the Board of Directors of the Algarve Football Association, Reinaldo Teixeira, presented the project of the new headquarters and other future developments.

AP Hotels & Resorts, given the strong connection with Algarve sports, namely football, was represented by the Group’s general manager, Emanuel Freitas, and the director of AP Eva Senses, Pedro Alves.
