AP MARIA NOVA LOUNGE HOSTS PRESENTATION OF “TAVIRA – O PORTO SEGURO”

The AP Maria Nova Lounge hosted the presentation of the book “Tavira – O Porto Seguro”, written by Cristina Baptista, published by Guerra e Paz, in partnership with the AP Hotels & Resorts group.
The book, a true celebration of the city of Tavira, was presented by João Soares, former Minister of Culture, and also had the floor the director of AP Maria Nova Lounge, Xisco Homs, and the Mayor of Tavira, Ana Paula Martins.
The AP Hotels & Resorts group was represented by its chairman, António Parente, and several members of the board of directors and management .
The ceremony began with a welcome drink at the Rooftop Nomad Restaurant & Bar, followed by dinner at the Balsa Restaurant, prepared by Chef Milene Nobre.
The book “Tavira – The Safe Harbour” is an excellent document that portrays the secular history of Tavira, transporting us also to the present time, illustrated with magnificent images that are the true testimony of the beauty of the city, a rare case in the Algarve region, benefiting from its location near the Ria Formosa.
