AP MARIA NOVA LOUNGE AND AP CABANAS BEACH & NATURE SUPPORT TAVIRA GRANDONDO 2023

AP Maria Nova Lounge and AP Cabanas Beach & Nature are partners of the event TAVIRA GRANFONDO, 4th edition, which takes place between 6 and 9 October 2023.

The event, limited to 1000 participants, has special features, defined as an “open race”, with time, classifications and prizes.

The 4th edition of TAVIRA GRANFONDO will have the official start at 09h00 on the 8th of October 2023, in the city of Tavira, at Avenida Zeca Afonso, and arrival at the same place.

The TAVIRA GRANFONDO will be divided into two sections:
Granfondo will have the approximate length of 130 km.
The Mediofondo will have an approximate length of 70 km.

The maximum time limit to finish the event is 6 (six) hours.

Over a distance of 130 km, the participants will have the opportunity to get to know the magnificent scenery of Tavira, travel along a route between the mountains and the sea and get to know the interior of the region.

The race has a high degree of difficulty, disputed in extreme terrain, with long climbs.

The Granfondo is a mass event, differing from professional cycling races in that the roads are not closed and cyclists of all ages can participate. The starts are done en masse, but the format allows athletes of all levels to participate.
