CHEF MILENE NOBRE AT EUROSKILLS GDANSK 2023

Chef Milene Nobre from AP Maria Nova Lounge is representing Portugal at Euroskills Gdansk 2023 as the Head of the Jury in the culinary profession, just as in previous years.

Chef Milene Nobre began her journey by participating in the world championships in 2010 as a competitor, achieving 4th place (excellence medal). Years later, she was invited to join the national jury team. She won the Worldskills 2022 with her team in the culinary profession, held in Lucerne, Switzerland. Currently, she is the Head of the Jury for Worldskills, responsible for organizing the championship and training national champions for participation in European and world championships.

Worldskills Portugal is under the umbrella of IEFP – Institute for Employment and Vocational Training, responsible for organizing and conducting the national-level Vocational Skills Competition and representing Portugal in international competitions. The Vocational Skills Competitions, held every two years, are aimed at young people between 17 and 25 years old who have completed or are undergoing a qualification process in various vocational education and training fields. These competitions aim to demonstrate the individual level of competence, accuracy, and mastery of techniques and tools for each profession through practical performance tests evaluated according to demanding criteria and international technical specifications established by juries composed of highly qualified experts (trainers, professionals, entrepreneurs).
