AP Hotels & Resorts Recognised with Multiple Nominations at the World Travel Awards 2026
AP Hotels & Resorts once again strengthens its position in the international tourism landscape by securing five nominations at the prestigious World Travel Awards 2026, one of the most renowned distinctions in the hospitality and tourism industry. These awards celebrate excellence across multiple sectors, from hotels and resorts to airlines and travel destinations.
Among the nominees, AP Adriana Beach Resort stands out in the category Portugal’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort 2026. This 4-star resort is recognised for its strong focus on the family segment, offering an all-inclusive board, three restaurants, a Splash Park, various water-based activities for children, a spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as a comprehensive entertainment programme with shows and outdoor activities.
In the category Portugal’s Leading Lifestyle Hotel 2026, the group has two nominated properties. The 5-star AP Lago Montargil Conference & Spa is distinguished by its natural surroundings and diverse offer, including an all-inclusive concept, spa, swimming pools, two restaurants — including the renowned à la carte restaurant Panela — a conference centre, and a nautical centre dedicated to water sports.
Also nominated in the same category, AP Cabanas Beach & Nature, located in Cabanas de Tavira, presents an adults-friendly concept with an all-inclusive board. Its proximity to the Ria Formosa Natural Park, along with easy access to beaches and Tavira’s historic centre, makes it a distinctive choice. The hotel also features an animated rooftop, regular live music, a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and three restaurants.
AP Oriental Beach, located on Praia da Rocha in Portimão, is nominated for Portugal’s Leading Beach Resort 2026. Its privileged location, with direct beach access and panoramic sea views, is one of its key highlights, offering guests a truly unique experience.
Finally, AP Eva Senses, located in the centre of Faro, is nominated in the category Portugal’s Leading City Hotel 2026. With its proximity to the city’s main attractions, the hotel stands out as an ideal choice for events and leisure stays, featuring themed restaurants — with special emphasis on the chef’s gastronomic offer — and stunning views over the Ria Formosa and Faro Marina.
