CHEF ALBERTO CARVALHO FROM AP EVA SENSES PARTICIPATES IN HOST LAB
AP Eva Senses was represented by Chef Alberto Carvalho and the hotel director, Pedro Alves, in Host Lab – Hospitality Sustainability and Tourism Experiences Lab, a project developed in collaboration with the Higher Institute of Engineering of the University of Algarve, with the aim of connecting the scientific community and in business with projects involving innovative ingredients within the Mediterranean Diet.
Chef Alberto Carvalho collaborated in the event with a presentation on Mediterranean Diet.
The project already develops a series of ingredients, including olive oil spread, enriched with crushed olives, goat’s milk derivatives, such as goat’s milk ice-cream with alternative sweeteners, or small gel spheres with fortified wine or vinegar.
At the inauguration, the President of the Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR), José Apolinário, challenged the Polytechnic of the Algarve to establish a protocol with the Tourism of Portugal so that, with the creation of another semester, there could be a degree course in the Algarve.
