Luís I Bridge

Opened in 1886, the Luís I Bridge is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Designed by a disciple of Gustave Eiffel, its iron structure is impressive both up close and from afar. Crossing it on foot, whether via the lower or upper deck, offers stunning views of the Douro River and the banks of Porto and Gaia.
