PIANIST FROM THE AP DONA ANINHAS WINS INTERNATIONAL PRIZE

The AP Dona Aninhas’ pianist Rafaella (Rafaela Alves) won the ‘Novo Talent’ award at the IPMA – International Portuguese Music Awards 2023.

 

The young singer and pianist, born in Viana do Castelo, received the award on 20 May, in a ceremony held at the Rhode Island Convention Center, in the United States, with the song “Onde nasce o rio”.

 

With a short career, Rafaella is preparing to release her debut album.

 

She started piano lessons, at the age of 9, in a music school in Viana do Castelo and now she sees her work and talent rewarded with this international award.
