Route N2

If you’d like to drive through Portugal from north to south, the N2 Route is perfect for you.

This route, which starts in Chaves and ends in Faro (or vice versa), runs along National Road 2 and is one of the longest in the world, surpassed only by Route 66 (USA) and Ruta 40 (Argentina).

The road is 739 km long and some people travel it by car, motorcycle, bicycle or even on foot.
