AP Victoria Falésia Run is back with a new edition

The sporting event takes place on 21 April

 

Albufeira, 05 April 2024 – 𝐀𝐏 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 & 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 is promoting another edition of the “AP Victoria Falésia Run”, which will take place on 21 April 2024, starting and finishing at the AP Victoria Sports & Beach Hotel (located on Falésia Beach in Albufeira). The aim of this event is to promote good sporting practice and to publicise the hotel’s sports facilities, but also to give visibility to the entire area surrounding the Açoteias area and the magnificent Falésia beach in Albufeira.

The competition will take place between Albufeira and Vilamoura, starting and finishing at the Victoria Sport & Beach Hotel at 10.30am.

There will be two routes, both circular, one with a 6-kilometre lap, in walking format, and the other with an 11-kilometre route in running format.

The 11km competition is aimed at athletes from all sports backgrounds and anyone over the age of 18. For the walk, underage athletes can take part as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The event also has the technical partnership of the Algarve Athletics Association.

The entry fee will entitle you to an athlete’s kit which includes a bib, technical T-shirt, gifts, advantages and discounts on sponsor services.

The organisation will donate 1 euro from each entry to the Albufeira Volunteer Fire Brigade Humanitarian Association.

This is organised by the Free Challenge Association, which has a long history of organising events of this nature.

The Albufeira City Council Hotel and the AP Hotels & Resorts Group are co-organisers of the event, which also has the technical partnership of the Algarve Athletics Association.
