Portimão hosts European and World Ultimate Beach Championship

It is in the next two weekends that the city of Portimão will host the European and World Ultimate Beach Championship, in Praia da Rocha, where around 1200 athletes are expected.
The first competition takes place on October 14, 15 and 16, with the 2nd European Beach Ultimate Club Championship (EBUCC), in which around 900 participants will compete, with daily games between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
On October 19th and 20th, athletes aged 45 and over will participate in the Beach Ultimate Club World Championship in the Great Grand Masters (WFDF) division.
This event has participants from several countries, with a total of 16 teams from Europe, the United States, Canada and Japan.
The final will be on the 22nd of October, starting at 16:00.
Praia da Rocha, the stage for this event, will be transformed into 12 playing fields, in which close to 350 matches will be played over the coming weekends.
