II International Chess Tournament
The II International Chess Tournament took place last June 24th, in Casa das Artes de Tavira, with the participation of fifty players, sponsored by AP Maria Nova Lounge.
The tournament, organized by José Correia, from the Chess Club of Clube Recreativo Fuzelense, was won by Francisco Araujo, from Spain.
Several individuals were present at the tournament, such as the President of Tavira Municipal Council, Ana Paula Martins, the vice-President, Eurico Palma, the town councillor for Infrastructures, Narciso Barradas, the President of Tavira Borough Council, José Mateus and vice-President, Sérgio Pereira.
