QSS DONA ANINHAS ON THE MENU FOR THE POPE’S RETURN JOURNEY
The QSS Dona Aninhas Rosé was chosen to be part of the menu for Pope Francis’ return trip to Rome, aboard the Airbus 320 TAP.
The menu, prepared by chef Vítor Sobral, features, as a starter, bísaro ham, serra da Estrela cheese and fig jam, as a main course golden grouper with roasted tomato cream and sweet potato, or stewed veal in Port wine, turnip puree, almond and rosemary.
The dessert served to the papal entourage was an orange tart, pistachio cream and roasted rock pear.
The QSS Dona Aninhas Rosé is thus among the three wines chosen for the menu of Pope Francis, who left Portugal on Sunday 6 August after a five-day visit on the occasion of World Youth Day.
QSS Dona Aninhas Rosé is served in all hotels of the AP Hotels & Resorts Group.
The Madre group, which includes the company Multiwines, producer of QSS Dona Aninhas Rosé, and the AP Hotels & Resorts group, is proud of this true distinction of its wine, while welcoming the visit of His Holiness to Portugal.
