World Tourism Day

Since 1980, we have celebrated World Tourism Day on September 27th. The day was chosen because it is the date in 1970 when the directives which are the most significant for global tourism came into force.
Today we promote awareness of the social, cultural, political, and economic value of tourism and the contribution of this activity in order to achieve sustainable development goals.
It´s true that thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, tourism has been a heavily penalised economic sector, but it can contribute decisively to boost recovery and growth. And, in the AP Hotels & Resorts group, we could not be more confident that this is the way forward.
With six hotels with a wide range of concepts, from family-friendly to adult-friendly hotels, not forgetting the more sports orientated or all-inclusive hotels, in the AP Hotels & Resorts group we celebrate this day and maintain our goal: to be a reference in the Algarve hotel market, assuming as our main objective the creation of employment and value in the region.
