How to enjoy a good buffet
The buffets returned to AP Eva Senses, a hotel belonging to the AP Hotels & Resorts group, of MADRE TURISMO, with the best view between 12:30 and 15:00. So that nothing goes wrong, the hotel brings you 6 tips for enjoying a good buffet and delighting yourself until you can’t get any more.
1. It’s not worth going hungry before the buffet
Going to a buffet is not a sign that you have to eat a lot. You should take advantage of the various options that the buffet offers and taste a little of everything. Remember that the buffet has a lot of options, at a normally attractive price. You should always eat in moderation to get the most out of the experience.
2. Make a first round to evaluate the offer
When you reach the dining room, look around and assess the best options for your personal taste. Remember that there is an offer of starters, main courses, side dishes, fruits and desserts. Don’t be in a hurry to choose and try as many dishes as possible. If you look around and know all the offers that are available, you can focus on what makes your mouth water. In the case of AP Eva Senses, always consult the Chef’s suggestion of the day.
3. Choose foods you don’t normally eat at home
Since you’re at a buffet, choose to eat dishes that you normally don’t eat at home, either because they are more elaborate, or because no one else in your house likes it and doesn’t want to cook just for one person. Eat small portions to get a taste of everything.
4. Choose a proper drink
After making your round, think of the drink that best suits the delicacies you’re going to eat. The right drink will make you get the most out of your experience.
5. Eat slowly and without exaggeration
While everything looks delicious, don’t forget about restraint. There’s no rush, so take a deep breath and take your time until you refill your plate. Once the big meal is over, go for a little walk, as the fresh air and gentle exercise will help you recover. You can also drink tea to aid digestion, as well as to relieve the stomach, reducing bloating.
6. Don’t forget to make a reservation
Book your table and have no surprises. There’s nothing like knowing in advance, for example, the menu. At AP Eva Senses there is a wide variety of food to choose from, with main dishes from Monday to Sunday, including delicacies such as AP Eva Senses’ Classic Oriental Rice, Wellington Beef or Portuguese cuisine on Sunday.
If you are working nearby, head to our restaurant and enjoy the Executive Buffet menu from Monday to Friday, for €17 per person, or if you want to enjoy this offer during the weekend, there is also the Weekend buffet menu for €20 per person. Drinks are not included in the menus.
